Disney Dumps Narnia

Published by homemom3 under movie news Edit This

Disney has decided to dump The Chronicles of Narnia, which was going to release “The Voyage” in 2010. I guess due to it not making as much money as the first one they’ve decided not to risk their pocket books. I think one thing they fail to remember is what other movies may have been playing when it was released, not to mention when during the year it was released. Yes, it was dark but with today’s youth and those of us that read the books we all expected that. I’d hate for it to be all jellybeans and gum drops it would make me sick and I’d know it was a fake, at least these were very close to the book. Agree?

Robert Mulligan Died

Published by homemom3 under general Edit This

Robert Mulligan, director of To Kill a Mockingbird, died last week in his home. It seems he had heart disease and it finally got to him. He’ll forever be remembered for his great work in Mockingbird.

No Downloads for Australia

Published by homemom3 under new releases Edit This

It seems Nicole Kidman is having a bit of bad luck with her new movie, “Australia.” Now I’m reading no one seems to be downloading “Australia.” Course is that really a bad thing, at least they know that it isn’t being pirated and either it is being watched or bought.
