In Theaters This Weekend:
Swing Vote
Bud Johnson (played by Kevin Costner) has a daughter, Madeline (Molly Johnson) that means the world to him. She’s an 11-year-old who is ordering her dad to vote, the only problem is he does NOT want to vote. But there’s one problem, his ballot doesn’t go through and he must do it again. Only problem is he doesn’t and later the whole world discovers that HE is the one vote that will make a difference in deciding who will be president. The whole world is watching and his world has become a nationwide event, everyone will try to convince them exactly who he should vote for. Who will he choose?
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Branden Fraser returns as Rick O’Connell but this time his new sidekick isn’t his wife, but his son, Alex played by Luke Ford. Together the two must go on an adventure that will take them to China , through the Himalayas and loets not forget all the crazy, almost death defying events that are sure to take place. Course it wouldn’t be “The Mummy” if someone didn’t unearth some tomb that had a 2000 year old curse inside and of course someone does. The floors will drop, traps will go off and someone will be having to save someone’s life.
Some not so popular movies that will be in some theaters:
Frozen River- What happens when Ray Eddy is left without a husband, when he deserts his family but not before gambling away any bit of money they have only two days before Christmas? With two young sons and Santa coming she must quickly figure out a way to get a husband, and one with money. Instead she runs into another woman that is struggling but has come up with a plan, however illegal the two team up to make their ends meet. There is nothing a woman won’t do for her child. Sounds like a very intriguing movie. (one I’d LOVE to see)
Midnight Meat Train (the name itself is disgusting)- Your classic horror flick, what happens when Leon is obsessed with getting to meet the serial killer that butchers passengers on the subway trains? But Leon will go deep into the subway, in the midnight hours just to catch himself a killer, or to be caught by the killer. Catching a pic of the killer could be his last one, but it won’t stop him from chasing him, at least not until he is the one being chased.
