The Princess and the Frog has a new trailer out and it has a spin on the classic fairy tale you may not be prepared for. Before the new release I just thought this was the same Princess kisses frog and he becomes a prince story, but it isn’t. This movie not only has a spin but it is also bringing back the hand-drawn animation that Disney use to be known for. I can’t wait to see this.
In “The Princess and the Frog, a prince named Naveen gets transformed into a frog by a voodoo magician named Dr. Facilier. The only way to change back is to kiss a princess, which seems simple, but he mistakes a young girl named Tiana . When Tiana kisses the frog she turns into a frog too and together they must go on an adventure to the Bayou to find a way to reverse the spell.
Want to see it yet? Will Disney be able to bring in the money they want? I think they can. Check out the trailer below:
When In Rome with Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel is coming to theaters this January and it looks to be one of those comedy romances. What happens when a New Yorker that has had her heart crushed more than once and ends up in Rome? Well, she does what the Romans do. Except she makes a few mistakes along the way.
She goes to her sister’s wedding in Rome, only she can’t break the vase, which symbolizes happiness in the marriage for the new couple. Nick accidentally drops water on an outlet and the lights go out, later that night she decides to take coins from the Fontana De Amore. While she may think finding love is what she wants, she has now released the curse of love and everyone’s coins that she grabbed will fall in love with her…including Nick, the man she likes. How will she tell who really loves her and who doesn’t?
The scenes will crack you up. Will you be watching this?
Beth Harper (Bell) is a young, successful real estate agent … but she’s completely unlucky in love. However, when the New Yorker travels to Rome to see her newlywed sister, she impulsively steals some coins from a reputed fountain of love, and is then aggressively pursued by a band of wannabe lovers.
Disney has decided to dump The Chronicles of Narnia, which was going to release “The Voyage” in 2010. I guess due to it not making as much money as the first one they’ve decided not to risk their pocket books. I think one thing they fail to remember is what other movies may have been playing when it was released, not to mention when during the year it was released. Yes, it was dark but with today’s youth and those of us that read the books we all expected that. I’d hate for it to be all jellybeans and gum drops it would make me sick and I’d know it was a fake, at least these were very close to the book. Agree?
Robert Mulligan, director of To Kill a Mockingbird, died last week in his home. It seems he had heart disease and it finally got to him. He’ll forever be remembered for his great work in Mockingbird.
It seems Nicole Kidman is having a bit of bad luck with her new movie, “Australia.” Now I’m reading no one seems to be downloading “Australia.” Course is that really a bad thing, at least they know that it isn’t being pirated and either it is being watched or bought.
